Improves Braking Performance. Your Jeeps stock rubber brake hoses are prone to a soft brake pedal and diminished braking response. But, now you can improve the braking performance of your TJ by installing a set of Braided Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Hoses from Rugged Ridge. Unlike the stock rubber hoses, these Rugged Ridge Hoses won't expand allowing for firmer brake feel and quicker braking response. With an additional 4 inches in length, when compared to stock, these Stainless Steel Brake Hoses are ideal for use on lifted Jeep Wranglers.

Exceeds DOT Standards. Manufactured with a Teflon inner hose, these Rugged Ridge Brake Hoses feature a braided stainless steel outer casing to withstand the abuse and hazards of off-roading. All Rugged Ridge Stainless Steel Brake Hoses are designed to meet or exceed DOT MVSS-106 regulations for safety.

Direct Fit Upgrade Replacement. These Rugged Ridge Brake Hoses are not universal “one size fits all” hoses that you find at your local auto parts store. Rugged Ridge specifically designed their Hoses with the correct size fittings making them a direct fit upgrade replacement. Seeing that installation of these Hoses requires bleeding the brake system professional installation is recommended.

Five Year Limited Warranty. Rugged Ridge warrants the original purchaser that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Some exclusions or limitations may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for complete details.

Application. This set of two Rugged Ridge Stainless Steel Teflon Front Brake Hoses are specifically designed for use on 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models.

How long are the hoses them selves? I need them to be at least 27'' for my application.

        • The Rugged Ridge Hose Braid Front are 21" long. Unfortunately, these will not work for your application.

Hi. I take it stock hoses are 18" long, I was under the impression these are 21". Will these be too long for a Wrangler with no lift and if so, would tying the slack onto the chassis or strut area be a bad idea? I don't do any rock crawling but I do go off road from time to time and I'm afraid the excess hose could get caught on something. Is this unreasonable to think?

        • This is intended for Jeeps with at least a 2" lift, and I would not recommend installing this on a Jeep with no lift, as you would have too much slack which can affect the performance of these hoses.

I have a 3 inch lift will these lines fit ?

        • This will be 4 inches longer than stock.

For the price, it works very well. I've had on my jeep for a month now and have no problems.

            Complete Garbage

They leak awful. No matter how tight you get them they still leak, you can actually see the gap in threads do to poor machining, total waist of money. Would leave 0 stars if it would let me.

If you did any lift you gotta have these!

Made of top quality, and a great price. Bolted right on with a regular brake bleed job. If your planning on heavy off-roading or not these take the strain off your brake lines with great looks and style. I'm very happy with the outcome, thanks
