    Description

    Specs. Though tough and sturdily made, Jeep exhaust manifolds can eventually crack, usually signaled by loud exhaust noise accompanied by much popping and sputtering. Omix-ADA's Wrangler Exhaust Manifold Kit for the 4.2 liter engine is a beefy cast iron replacement part that restores proper function and stops the "diesel exhaust" uproar from a cracked manifold. This part is 49-state legal and can be used in California only for racing, not for on-road vehicles.

    Construction. The Exhaust Manifold Kit by Omix-ADA includes the manifold itself, which is made out of thick cast iron and weighs 17 pounds, and a gasket. The part is made for 4.2 liter 6-cylinder engines found in older Wranglers. A gasket is also included. This manifold is street legal in 49 states, but is illegal for on-road use in California and can only be used while racing. Your purchase is covered by the standard 5 year warranty offered by Omix-ADA.

    Application. This Omix-ADA Exhaust Manifold Kit is designed to fit on the 1987-1990 Wrangler YJ models equipped with a 4.2L engine.
