The big kit harnesses Dana Spicer 44 design to get more power out of it, leading to a huge strength increase that is more modern as well.
Re-Gearing to Upgrade. To be an upgrade, this kit has to be better than the standard version. So, the gear ratio is a whopping 4.11. The pinion shaft is 24 spline large. The ring gear diameter is even bigger, measuring 8.875 inches. Use this bigger, better kit with a 1310 or 1350 series pinion yoke and you’ll gain enhanced performance both on the street and when you go off-roading.
Long-Lasting Construction. Part of being an upgrade is being reliable. This kit is. The parts are made out of 8620 triple alloy steel, which is a premium quality material. Both heat-treated and machined for precision, the kit is durable. Its long-lasting design is high end.
