Description
Rear Axle. The axle components on a Jeep Wrangler are extremely important, considering any weak link can mean the difference between traversing a trail and being stuck in one. The OEM units are great when it comes to some light off-road duty, but if you’re looking to get into more of the serious stuff, then a stronger unit would be better. The Nitro Gear & Axle 32 Spline Dana 44 Rear Axle Shaft - Left Side is up to the task, as it’s stronger and fits just like stock.
Stong and Durable. The rear axle shaft is made from chromoly steel, which is a blend of Nitro 1541h steel and 4340 alloy and chromium, providing a 25-35-percent increase in strength over the stock axle. The axle is CNC precision machined to fit OEM specifications, as it has a 32-spline count and fits Dana 44 type differentials.
Moderate Installation. The rear axle can be installed in about 2 hours by any qualified mechanic.
Warranty Information. The rear axle shaft is covered a by a 5-year warranty. Please check the manufacturer’s site for complete details.
