    1 Top Rated Question

These spark plugs come from the NGK factory with a .031" (0.8mm) GAP set. The Jeep OE Champion spark plugs have a gap set to .043" (1.1mm). Do you your customers usin these spark plugs set the gap to .043" or run them at the stock NGK .031" gap setting?

    • The NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug do not come pre gaped and would have to be gaped to your vehicles recommended size.

      Not correct plug for 3.6L!!

These plugs caused P0300 code within 25 miles of driving. I went to NGK's website and these plugs are not even listed as the correct ones for a pentastar motor. They are gapped to .031" (0.8mm) when the correct gap for a 3.6L is .044" (1.1mm). These plugs are apparently meant for Kia Soul, Mitsubishi outlander, and Smart cars. Very frustrated that I will have to pull them back out and replace them, especially since it is not a simple 20 minute job.

      The right plug

Don't waste your time and money. NGK plugs last longer between tune-ups and perform better than other the cheaper( least coasting) brands.

      Way Better than Stock

After installing these at 80,000 miles engine has sharper response and since I have owned this jeep since it was new I always had pinging under almost any load. I checked for vacuum leaks, there were none and my manifold vacuum was 15-16psi. With these plugs my vacuum reading went to a very steady 18 psi. I used the Actron vacuum gauge and tested near throtle body and then at mainfold plenum. Great buy and well worth the effort of having to take of the plenum off. FYI: replace all six intake gaskets, I replaced my oil filter housing, checking all the fasteners I could that I couldn't reach with the plenum on.

Better than the stock Champion plugs

Installed in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and they cured my spark knock issue that the factory blamed on my aftermarket exhaust. The gaps were all good to go right out of the box. I will definitely buy these again when the time comes.

Good replacement, no noticeable gain nor loss

I bought these as a replacement for my brothers 2014 JKU, and had no issues with them. I dont feel they are really any better per se, but they arent that much different in price than the factory plugs and NGK always makes solid products. Why not just go with the better option in my opinion
