Hey, guys. So, today, I'm here with the N-FAB Wheel 2 Wheel Nerf side step bar in textured black, fitting all 2018 and newer four-door JL Wranglers. So, if you've got a factory side step on your Jeep and you're just not a fan of it, or you don't have a step at all and you're looking for something functional and good-looking to fill up that wheel-to-wheel space, this option by N-FAB is going to be a really good one to take a look at. So, this is going to come with a number of different benefits. Right off the bat, you get two drop-down steps, which is going to help you out with cab access, getting in and out of your Wrangler, as well as roof access if you have a roof rack installed on your Wrangler. So, these steps are going to be pretty wide. They are going to drop down pretty far, helping you get in and out of your Jeep, but you also are getting some cutouts or some perforation in there for a little bit of extra traction on those wetter days. Now, not only is this going to provide a step, but it's also going to provide some pretty good protection, I would say, on the more milder side. Because these drop steps do hang a little bit lower, they do have the potential to get hung up on some obstacles on the trail. So, I would keep that in mind when shopping around if that is a concern for you.So, I would recommend these to somebody who's doing some lighter rock crawling or even some daily driving and just wants some extra protection and a boost up into their Wrangler. However, these are still going to be durable. So, these are going to be made of a heavy-duty steel construction, and even though these do have the potential to get hung up on obstacles, they are able to take a hit. So, I also do really like this 3-inch steel tubing up at the top. That is going to protect your rocker area and hug very tightly to that very vulnerable area. So, overall, it's going to be a durable construction. Not to mention, these are going to look very good. They look very good mounted up to our JL, gives it a more aggressive and even a sleek look with that texture black powder coat finish. So, these are going to be pretty averagely priced for what they are at roughly $400, and I think for what you're getting out of this package, that that is very fair. So, other less expensive choices are usually going to be for those traditional straight bar side steps or even some flatter running boards that are going to have a more simplistic design in comparison to this, which will have a drop-down step, and usually, they are going to be for lighter protection instead of this option, which is going to provide you a little bit more heavy-duty protection. And then, on the other hand, you have those more expensive choices that are just going to have a little bit more to their design. They may be made with higher-quality materials. They may have a higher-quality powder coat, even though I think this is pretty solid. Or they may just have some extra bells and whistles, like removable steps. Overall, I think, again, that this is a very solid design, this is going to get the job done, and it's going to look really good while doing it, and not to mention, N-FAB does bring quality products to the table, so they back that with a lifetime construction warranty and a five-year finish warranty. So, jumping into the install, it's going to be pretty easy at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. I don't see this taking you any longer than one to two hours to get the job done with some basic hand tools. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tools that I used for my install were an impact wrench, a 13-millimeter wrench, a 3/8-inch drive ratchet, a 12-millimeter and a 13-millimeter deep socket. So, to kick off this install, you want to make sure that you have the right side that you're on. So, how you can tell is that this curved end is going to be facing the front of the vehicle, and the straight end is going to be facing the rear of the Jeep. So, you also want to make sure you have all of your hardware staged, and something comfy to lay on, and then we can mount this side step up.So, I'm starting in the middle. What you can do is just press the side step up, line up those brackets, and then we're going to take our stainless hardware and thread that into the captured nut plate in the body of our Wrangler. So, I recommend starting in the middle just because this is going to hold the side step up in place while you connect the other two mounts. Now, you don't need to tighten it down fully. We just want to make sure that this is supported and there's enough room for adjustment. You also want to make sure that the pinch weld mount is on the outside of your pinch weld. Now we can move down to the other two mounts. After you have the body mount bolt hand-threaded most of the way, then we can take our black powder-coated hardware, as well as the stainless nut, the flange nut, and attach that to our pinch weld bracket. So, we're going to attach the bolt on the outside. You may have to adjust where the side step sits. And then, we can attach that flange nut on the other side. Now, again, we don't have to tighten this down just yet. We're going to get it pretty snugged up. We can do the same thing for the other pinch weld hole. All right. Now we can start to tighten everything up.So, I'm going to start with the body-mounted bolt. I'm going to be using a 12-millimeter socket in order to tighten that up. Next, you can move on to the pinch weld bolts. I'm going to be using a 13-millimeter socket and a 13-millimeter wrench to tighten those up. Now we can repeat that same process for the other two brackets. So, that's going to wrap it up for my review and install.
