Hey guys. Today I'm here with the N-Fab wheel to wheel nerf step bar fitting all 2018 JL four-door Wranglers. So, if your Jeep is lifted or if you don't have the sidesteps out of the factory, getting in your Jeep can be pretty tricky. This option by N-Fab will be a perfect solution for the JL owner who doesn't already have sidesteps and wants something to give them an extra boost up into their Wrangler. This is also a great option for the JL owner with the factory sidesteps that isn't really a fan of those factory plastic ones and want something that looks a lot more finished as well as upgraded and complements the JL very well. So this is gonna double as some side protection to your rocker here and have this large stepping surface making it very easy to get in and out of your Wrangler. So I wouldn't recommend these sidesteps to someone who is doing some crazy crawling and is an avid rock crawler just because these do come out a little bit too far. They do have the potential to get hung up on any obstacles. However, if you are tackling any lighter trails or any fire trails, these are gonna do a great job of protecting your side panel. So at the moment, these are just north of $350 and are gonna be a very affordable option in the category right now. Other options on the page that you may be seeing for sidesteps will come in different finishes. They'll have some different designs and they will have the option for a different kind of step or no step at all. So personally, I think if you're looking for a very finished look and for a sidestep that complements your JL very well, and if you're looking for that double benefit of some side protection as well as a large stepping surface, that these are definitely worth the price. These also come with a structural limited lifetime warranty as well as a five-year limited warranty on the finish to keep a little bit of peace of mind in your investment. Install is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It should take you roughly an hour to get these folded up with a couple of hand tools. So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now. So we're gonna be spending most of our time underneath the Jeep. So I would recommend for the first couple of steps that you grab a creeper or something comfortable to lay on. You're also gonna need a 13 millimeter deep socket and a 10 millimeter deep socket as well as a ratchet or an impact wrench. So our first step is to remove these 10 millimeter nuts that are on these studs on our pinch weld. There's gonna be two on either side of each body mount. So there will be six in total. I'm using a 10 millimeter deep socket and a quarter inch drive ratchet since it is smaller to get that off. So after you remove the nuts on back of pinch weld here, we do need to remove the bolts that are holding in three of these body mounts. They are gonna be a 13 millimeter bolt. I'm using a 13 millimeter deep socket and an impact wrench to get those off. And I'm starting with the front one and moving my way down and I'm gonna leave the middle one for last so we can balance everything and get everything off. After those nine bolts are out, we can remove our sidestep. So compared to the stock sidestep, you can see that this is still the same length. You're still getting full coverage from wheel to wheel while getting a very off-road look because of the construction as well as a very sleek look because of the finish on this. So this is gonna be a lot more durable than the plastic factory sidestep that we all know can break if it does take a hit. This is made of three inch steel tubing. It also has a welded drop step on the front that is gonna be very rigid and support you very well while you're getting in and out of the Wrangler. So you can also tell that this has a gloss black powder coat finish on it. This is gonna give you a very finished and upgraded look to your JL while still offering corrosion resistance. So like I mentioned that drop step before, that is gonna have a very large stepping surface making getting in and out of your Jeep a absolutely breeze. You also have some dimpled texture on the top of those steps. So even though it does have a glossy finish, you still are gonna gain that traction. So let's bolt up our new sidestep. So you wanna make sure that this is oriented in the correct way with the longest portion up at the front and then the shortest end here down at the back. Now we're gonna start in the middle by attaching this to the pinch weld very carefully. I'm just gonna take the two bolts for the pinch weld and attach those very loosely so you can just have a starting point so we don't have to hold it the whole time. So once that's on there, you can let go. It's being supported by the actual mounting brackets that are touching the underbody of the Jeep. So now that we're under the Jeep, we can check our body mounts and align them up to where our stock sidestep was originally bolted in. Then we can take our washer and our bolt and loosely thread those in. We're gonna keep all of our hardware loose at the beginning and then tighten everything down at the end, make sure that it's sitting properly. So I'd start in the middle and then you can work your way down on the other side, very loosely tighten it, snug it up then we can move to the last one. So after that's loosely on, we can move to bolting up the rest of our pinch weld bolts. So, after those are bolted up, you can take a 13 millimeter wrench and a 13 millimeter socket and tighten the pinch weld bolts first and then we'll move to the bracket arms. So our last step is gonna be to tighten all of the bolts that are holding on our bracket arms. So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install on the N-Fab wheel to wheel nerf step bar fitting all 2018 four-door JL Wranglers.
