Features

- Steel skid fully MIG welded and mounts to stock TJ frame
- Aluminum fuel tank secured to steel skid with two steel hold-down straps with adjustable fasteners
- Does not require a body lift to install
- Compatible with several rear axles including GM 14 bolt, Ford Sterling 10.25/10.5, Dana 60, Dana 44, and Ford 8.8
- Approximately 50 lbs. in weight
- Pigtail adapter required for TJ models 2004 and earlier to adapt to the newer 2005-2006 fuel pump

Description
Heavy Duty Fuel Cell Upgrade. The Motobilt Stretch Underbody Fuel Cell with Pigtail Adapter is designed to accommodate stretched wheelbase Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ models by providing a durable, high-capacity fuel tank solution. This product supports up to 6” wheelbase stretch while securely mounting underneath the Jeep, making it ideal for off-road and rock crawling applications.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 1/8” thick aluminum sheet, the fuel cell is CNC laser cut and formed with precision, followed by TIG welding for superior strength and finish. The fuel fill and vent tubes are CNC machined and welded to maintain factory placement. The assembly is protected by a heavy-duty 3/16” steel skid plate, fully MIG welded and designed to mount to the original TJ frame. The tank ships in raw steel and aluminum finish, suitable for rugged off-road use.
Installation. Installation requires no body lift or major modifications like drilling. The fuel cell mounts directly in the factory fuel tank location, ensuring a straightforward replacement without the need for additional wheelbase modifications unless desired.
Warranty. The fuel cell is backed against manufacturer defects, underscoring the product’s reliability and durability.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 97-04 Jeep Wrangler TJ with Stretched Wheelbase.
