Description
Spare Tire Delete Solution. The Motobilt Spare Tire Delete Tag Mount; Bare Steel is designed to eliminate the bulky factory spare tire mount on 2018-present Jeep JL and JLU Wrangler models. It provides a clean, lightweight rear tailgate appearance while relocating the license plate and backup camera for full functionality and improved rear visibility.
Construction and Appearance. This system includes three main durable steel components and ships as bare metal for customization with paint or powder coating. The design ensures the backup camera is mounted below the license plate at a corrected angle to preserve factory camera performance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward as the mount bolts directly into the factory spare tire mounting points using existing hardware. Minor drilling is required to enlarge camera mounting holes for compatibility with the new mounting system.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit all 2018-present Jeep JL and JLU Wrangler models, providing a clean rear tailgate configuration without the factory spare tire carrier.
