These gears are made using leading industrial processes to give you fast acceleration. Further, with this 4.88 gear ratio, you can fit wider tires in your truck for improved performance while crawling on rocks.
Re-Gearing. On upgrading to this 4.88 gear ratio, re-gearing is recommended. When you fit larger tires on your truck, the engine has to work extra hard to turn them. Without re-gearing, the engine will consume a lot of fuel and have reduced performance.
Superior Construction. Made from quality steel material, this Rear Ring and Pinion Kit is designed to last a lifetime. The manufacturing process includes computer controlled heat treatment that yields superior quality and reduces noise levels. This kit is designed to handle extreme temperatures in your rig’s transmission system.
Recommended Upgrade. The speedometer reading of your truck should be adjusted after installing this rear ring and pinion kit. Without the adjustments, you will get inaccurate readings.
