This Motive gears are assembled using the latest computer engineered technology to deliver a smooth gear that is well suited to take on any offroad terrains head-on.
Re-Gearing. Re-gearing is vital especially after changing the wheels of your Jeep so that you can minimize the rate of fuel consumption while maintaining the acceleration of your vehicle. The kit is crafted to be used with a 30-front and 44-rear axle and can accommodate your vehicle’s existing hardware when installing it.
Sturdy Construction. Fit your Jeep with this piece of stellar hardware. The Dana 30F/44R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit are forged from a triple 8620 alloy steel that assures of extreme durability against the extreme heat levels and extreme friction that is prevalent in the drive-chain transmission.
Installation. The Dana 30/44R complete ring and pinion features demanding, hands-on installation mechanism that must be done by a qualified expert mechanic due to the wheel disassembly, reassembly, and alignment of both front and rear axle and wheels. The entire process is about 6 hours.
Warranty. Motive Dana 30F/44R Gears are covered by a 1-year/ 50,000 Mile warranty.
Application. The Motive Dana 30F/44R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.88 Gear can fit on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ excluding Rubicon models.
Application Note. This Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is designed to be used 3.73 and Higher Front Carrier and 3.92 and Higher Rear Carrier. If your Jeep currently uses a 3.73 Ratio you will need to purchase a new Rear Carrier. If your Jeep currently uses a 3.54 Or 3.07 Ratio you will need to purchase a new Front and Rear Carrier.
