Turn your Wrangler YJ to an off-road rockstar by replacing its factory front and rear ring gear and pinion kit with these 4.56 geared Motive Dana 30F/35R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit. These aftermarket fitments have been specially designed to increase the off-road performance of your truck by allowing installation of wider tires which increase grip even at high off-road speeds while still maintaining top engine performance.
Re-Gearing. Installing bigger tires without upgrading the ring gear and pinion kit forces the engine to overtask to cover the bigger rotation, leading to higher fuel consumption. To curb this, Motive ring gears have 41 teeth which rotate the tires faster without requiring any extra power from the engine.
Solid Construction. Motive Gear has crafted these parts from a solid 8620 Stainless steel that is molded using state of the art equipment for an accurate fitment and long-lasting service.
Recommended Upgrade. If your truck is using a 3.54 carrier ratio, you will need to procure a new front carrier. Also, if it’s using a 3.07 carrier ratio, you will be required to buy a new front and rear carrier.
Expert Installation. You will need a hand from a professional mechanic when installing these fitments, a process that takes approximately 6 hours to complete.
Warranty. Motive Gear offers a 1-year/50,000 miles limited warranty for these parts covering all manufacturing faults and workmanship.
