For you to install the large tires you desire you need to upgrade to the 4.10 Gears Motive Dana 30F/35R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit. This gear is manufactured to perfection using a computerized process that allows for an optimum fit on the shim and pinion gear. Once you have upgraded to this kit you will enjoy both off and on-road performance without compromising on the performance.
Re-Gearing. If you increase your tires’ rolling distance, you will notice that the engine is forced to work double time and this might overstretch the fuel consumption rate making it produce some funny irritating noises. However, this is not the case with this ring and pinion gear.
Construction. The 4.10 Motive Gears are forged from 8620 triple alloy steel that guarantees superior strength and is also rust and corrosion resistant giving your drivetrain system a lift in appearance.
Installation. It is advisable to seek mechanical assistance when installing the 4.10 Motive Gears since the installation process is quite a tricky process. With the right mechanic you can install the gear set in less than 6 hours.
Warranty. Motive Dana 30F/35R Gears are covered by a 1-year/ 50,000 mile warranty.
Application. The 4.10 Gears Motive Dana 30F/35R Complete Ring Gear and Pinion Kit fit all 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models.
