      Description

      Enhanced Ride Quality. A worn out ring gear and pinion kit may cause your 87-95 YJ to jerk uncontrollably whenever you shift gears. Eliminate such uncomfortable jerks by installing Motive Dana 30 Front Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.88 Gears. Designed to restore the vehicle’s stock ride quality, this kit improves your highway and off-road experience by making gear shifting easier and effortlessly. Mounting it on your Wrangler minimizes strain on its axle thus ensuring the longevity of the vehicle’s drivetrain system.

      Convenient Upgrade. Motive Gear designed this kit to be compatible with your YJ’s factory transmission components. This negates the need for you to overhaul the entire drivetrain system when installing it. To ensure a seamless fitment, the Dana 30 kit comes with a shim. It similarly has a seal to prevent leaks which may arise as a result of continuous use.

      Built for the Trail. To eliminate any worries about drivetrain system failure when off-roading, Motive built this Dana 30 front ring gear and pinion kit using high-strength steel. An unpainted metal finish is also used to provide additional protection against rust and corrosion.

      Direct Installation. Although the kit is engineered to be a direct replacement upgrade for stock components, professional expertise is needed when installing it. No modifications are required during installation, which takes six hours. Specialized tools are required when mounting this kit.

      Warranty Information. Motive Gear provides a one-year/ 50,000 mile warranty against structural defects.

      Application. This front ring gear and pinion kit is designed to fit 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJs.
