Flat Towing System. The Maximus-3 Flat Towing Kit with Blue Ox Adapters in Black provides a comprehensive and reliable solution for safely flat towing a Jeep Wrangler behind a motorhome or RV. It includes recovery loops, a robust tie rod, and specialized tow adapters designed to create a secure connection and prevent unwanted movement of the tow-bar arms during towing, thereby enhancing safety and protecting the vehicle.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from heavy gauge 3/4-inch steel plate, the kit features a durable powder coat finish available in red gloss or textured black. This finish offers excellent corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The strong construction ensures long-lasting performance under demanding towing conditions.
Installation. Installation is advanced, typically requiring approximately 6 hours. The process involves precise fitting and may require specialized tools to ensure proper assembly and secure attachment, all without the need for bumper modifications.
Application. Designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler models from 2007 to 2018, compatible with factory steel and plastic bumpers as well as most aftermarket steel bumpers. This kit is not compatible with the Blue Ox Adventurer Adjustable Tow Bar.
