Merideth: Hey guys, so today we're checking out the Mammoth two-inch billet wheel spacers in black fitting all 2018 and newer JL Wranglers. So if you're in search of a wider look for your JL, spacers are a great option. And this kit by Mammoth is gonna be one of your most affordable kits to do so.Now, this kit will be one of the largest in the category and come with two spacers in the kit, pushing your wheels out from the hub to inches. Now, this size spacer will be great for somebody who's looking for a more aggressive look or to be, or more of the aggressive side with their stance in comparison to a smaller or a thinner option. This kit will also be great if you've upgraded to a wider tire and you're currently having some rubbing issues on the inside of the wheel well, and you're just looking for an affordable fix to help your fitment.Now, I would like to mention that this will come with two spaces in the kit, so you will need to purchase two sets if you're looking to add them onto all four corners. Now, these will have a five-by-five bolt pattern and work with either your stock wheels or any aftermarket wheels that you're looking to add to your JL or have already installed. Nonetheless, these will be very well built, made of a C and C machine billet aluminum construction with a semi-gloss black finish on top to protect the aluminum from corroding.These will also include it 10 lug notes. As you can see, they're pre-installed right in the box on the spacer itself and some thread locker to make sure that they will be tightly secure once they're installed. Now, like I mentioned, these will be an incredibly affordable solution for a wider look or some better fitment coming in at roughly $90.Now, again, if you're looking at a set of two, you're gonna be looking at double that at about 190 and when comparing it to other options, even you'll still be saving a couple of bucks there for a complete set or a set of four. Now, in taking a look at some other options available in the category, you will see some different sizes, including one and a quarter, one and a half, one and three quarters, and so on. So if you are looking for more of an aggressive stance in comparison to those, this two-inch option is gonna be more up your alley.Now, these again will be great for somebody who's looking for a decent amount of width for a very wide look. Now, you'll also see a couple of different colored spacers, but if you don't necessarily care for a specific color, you're just looking for a very affordable solution for better fitment or a very wide look, then this kid is gonna be for you.Now, as far as install is concerned, this will be pretty easy at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you about an hour to get the job done with some pretty basic hand tools. And one of our installers here is gonna show you how to get these onto your JL step by step. Let's go ahead and get into the installMan: Tools used for today's install a pry bar, a torque ranch, half inch cordless, three eights cordless, a 22 millimeter, 19 millimeter socket, short extension, lock tight and a floor jack and jack stand what's up guys. So we got our JL regular here. I'm gonna be showing you how to install your two inch wheel spacers. So let's get started.All right, guys. So for this first step in this process is we're gonna get our floor jack lift the wheel off the ground, put our jack stand in place for safety and take the wheel off. So now that we have our wheel off the ground in the vehicle safely supported, we're gonna take our impact with our 22 millimeter socket and remove the lug nuts.All right. So now that we have a wheel spacer, you're gonna line up these empty holes with the wheel studs and with our supplied hardware, 19 millimeter lug nuts, and we're gonna use our 19 millimeter impact and tighten them down. So I highly recommend using some lock tight. Right here, we have blue before installing your wheel spacer, and you're just gonna put it on each wheel studOnce your wheel spacer is installed, we're gonna need to torque these down to factory spec. I'm gonna use a breaker bar and put it on the brake pedal and wed into the seat. You could also use a friend to hop in and press on the brake pedal. Again, these are factory spec for the torque and make sure you do it in a star pattern. So now that we have our wheel spacer installed, we're gonna put our wheel back on.Using our 22-millimeter socket, we're gonna tighten down the lug nuts. After you're done torquing them down, I always like to go around again, just to do a double-check. So now that we have our wheel spacer installed and our tire torque down to factory respect, you're going to repeat this process all the way around.Merideth: So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and the install on the Mammoth two-inch billet wheel spacers in black fitting, all 2018 and newer JL Wranglers.
