      Video Review & Installation

I'm Ryan from, and this is my review of the Lloyd carpet mats. This kit includes both front and rear floor mats for your 4 door '14 to '16 JK, but there are also kits available for different year ranges and body styles. These mats are for anyone who wants to both protect the inside of their Jeep and give their interior a little bit more of a finished look. These will save you a few dollars off of the top quality Lloyd mats, because they have a little bit of a different back to them and they're a little less moisture resistant, but, if the other ones aren't in your budget, these are still a really nice option, and they'll definitely do the trick. These mats are made out of a polypropylene yarn that is fade resistant, and as you can see, they're black with a silver logo on them. I actually really like the logo on these mats, and I'd much rather have them branded with the make of the vehicle than with the manufacturer of the floor mats plastered across them like a billboard. Lloyd is known for making a high quality mat, and they provide you with a warranty with these, so you know they're going to hold up over time. The warranty is really nice any time you're spending a significant amount of money, and especially on something like a floor mat that you're stepping on every time you get in and out of the Jeep.Let's talk about the difference between these all weather floor mats and the other Lloyd mats that we have on the site. These have a nibbed backing as opposed to the more tacky backing on some of those other more expensive Lloyd mats, and these are missing one of the moisture barriers in them, that again, those more expensive mats have. So it really comes down to what type of mat you're looking for, and what your budget is.As far as installation goes, well, they're floor mats. They just drop right into place. In the front, they do have spots to attach to the hooks in the factory carpet, which is a nice feature. It'll keep the mats from moving around, and they won't bunch up under the pedals, especially after you get in and out of the Jeep a few different times. Some less expensive mats, or mats that don't have these hooks on them, they'll tend to move around a little bit more. The back ones don't have hooks, but again, they have that nibbed backing, and they'll just drop right into place. Because these are designed to work specifically with your body style and your year range Jeep, they're cut to fit the floor, and they'll drop right in, fitting really nicely, giving you a lot of coverage. The whole installation shouldn't take you more than a few minutes, and you won't need any tools at all. There are some more expensive mats out there on the market, including some of those other Lloyd mats that we talked about, but there are also a lot of less expensive mats. In my opinion, you get a lot of value for these. When you take them out of the box and you take a look at them, you hold them in your hand, you can tell that they're well built, and that they're going to last and hold up for a long time. But it really comes down to your budget and what you want for your Jeep.So if you're looking for a floor mat to both protect the interior of your Jeep and finish off the look, and you have the budget for it, I recommend these. I don't have anything bad to say about them. But if you don't have the budget to spend this much on floor mats, there are some other options out there, and we have you covered with those as well. So that's my review of the Lloyd all weather carpet mats, fitting all '14 to '16 4 door JKs that you can find right here at
