        The K N website says all 57 model cold air intakes are California legal, but does not list the 57 system as an option for 2018 Jeep JK. Does this system actually fit a 2018 JK and is it CA legal?

        • While this will work with a 2018 JK at this time the K&N Series 57 FIPK Cold Air Intake is not CARB approved, so it is not legal in California.

            Must have, dramatic performance increase

            Howdy, I have a 12 JK, 3" lift, 295/70/17 Cooper STT pro tires, 3.73 gears. I needed extra horsepower going on a cross country trip, Michigan to Colorado. The mountains seams to take all my power especially at higher elevations. My brother told me about this, and said it would pay for itself in gas savings. Super easy install, and my JK runs so much better. Its got a throaty growl (not loud) and I can feel the extra H.P. and torque. Win-win in my opinion. Other brands filters are weakly constructed, KandN is solid. After the trip out there I bought the flashpaq tuner from superchips. Not my jeep is a performance machine, Bringing out all the capability of the 3.6L pentstar. Thanks extreme terrain!!!
