Merideth: Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the JKS Adjustable Front Track Bar, fitting all 2018 and newer JL Wranglers with 0 to 4.5 inches of lift. Now, your track bar is responsible for keeping your axle center, so if you've lifted your Wrangler and you didn't get a track bar in the kit, and you're looking to correct some of those thrown-off suspension angles, this will be a great option to take a look at. Now, this will also be a great choice if you're experiencing any wobble due to worn-out bushings and you're looking for a track bar that's going to hold up a lot better than your factory one. When it comes to the construction, this will be made of a heavy-duty DLM tubing, with a 1.5-inch outer diameter, which will resist any bending or damage, even if you're wheeling your JL hard.Now, this will also have a nice black powder coat finish on top, to resist any rusting or surface damage, and it will come with reinforced bushings on either end. Now, the track bar will also be single adjustable, as you can see here, the adjustable jam nut, so you can perfectly center your axle underneath your Wrangler, for the best drivability. Now, when it comes to price, this will come in at roughly $250, which is a pretty average price for an upgraded track bar, but you will be saving a little bit compared to some competitors. And what I like about this option is the fact that this is going to be very durable, and comes with reinforced bushings, again, on either bend, so it is going to give you a little bit of a reduction in wear, or excessive wear, so it's gonna reduce that wobble, even in the long run. Now, this will also not necessarily break the bank compared to some other options that will be a little pricier due to the extra features that they may have, like being double-adjustable, made of a forged steel material, or come in a different color, if you're looking to match a specific color scheme.Now, I think if you're looking for a solid track bar that'll get the job done, and you're willing to compromise some of those extra bells and whistles and save a couple bucks, then this is gonna be a great choice. Now, when it comes to the install, I'm gonna give this a three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. Probably gonna take you about two hours to get the job done, with the correct hand tools. And speaking of the install, one of our installers here is gonna walk you through that process step by step. So, that wraps it up for my review. Let's go ahead and get into the install.Man: Tools required for this install include: Impact gun, a 21-millimeter ratcheting wrench, a ratchet, 7-millimeter socket, a swivel socket, a 21-millimeter socket, and a clip remover tool.What's up guys? Today we're gonna be installing a track bar on our Wrangler, so let's get started. So, our first step's gonna be to remove our splashguard. So, we have two 7-millimeter screws in here, and a bunch of push clips along the edge. You can get a 7-millimeter socket, take these out. And now we can remove all of our push clips. So now, with our splash guard removed, we have access to our two 21-millimeter bolts that are holding in our track bar, so we can take a 21-millimeter socket on an impact gun, and get those out. And then once we get that loose, we can come in with a 21-millimeter ratcheting wrench and get this the rest of the way out.So, on this side, we have a 21-millimeter nut on the backside, that we can get a 21-millimeter wrench on, and then 21-millimeter socket on the front. So now, before we install the new track bar onto the Jeep, you're gonna wanna make sure and go ahead and measure. Make sure it's the same length as our old one, so we're not throwing our alignment off, and then we can slide it in, get our hardware through, and then, if you're on a lift like us, you can use a pole jack to support the axle. So, put some weight on it before you tighten the bolts down. If you're doing it in your driveway at home, you're on jack stands, you can lower the car back onto its wheels before you fully tighten everything down.So, on this side, we have our nut with a bracket on it, to hold it into place back here. So, we're gonna loosely thread it into that. So, now we've got our pole jack, that we're gonna put tension onto our axle with, and then we can fully tighten this side. Now we can take our 21-millimeter socket, and snug this down. So, now we can reinstall our 21-millimeter nut on the back side. And then we'll get our 21-millimeter wrench on there, and 21-millimeter socket to tighten this down.And now, with both sides fully tightened down, we can take our load off of our suspension, and remove our pole jack. So, now we can go ahead and reinstall our splashguard. Then we can reinsert our push clips. And finally, we can reinstall our two 7-millimeter screws.Merideth: So, that is gonna wrap it up for my review and the install, the JKS Adjustable Front Track Bar, fitting all 2018 and newer JL Wranglers with 0 to 4.5 inches of lift.
