Merideth: If you're in search of a pretty affordable set of tube doors to up the style and security on your 2018 and newer four-door JL Wrangler, these Tubular Safari Doors with the Mirrors will be a set to check out. Now, this will be a solid set of tube doors that will give you the confidence that you need to drive with the full doors off the Jeep. These will not only give you a sense of security, but help with your line of vision if you're taking your JL off-road, and will offer some rugged styling to the Jeep at the same time.The doors will be made of a durable tubed and steel plate construction with a nice black powder coat finish on top that will match very well with other heavy-duty accessories, but, of course, protect the steel underneath from rusting from the elements. And I think the styling with the cutouts in the door as well as the angled tubular cross-section in the middle really add a sporty look that will turn some heads. And not to mention, this will have stainless steel hardware for that riveted look, a user-friendly latch for very easy access, rubber bump stops to prevent any rattling, and it's going to include two large mirrors in the kit for full visibility just like your factory doors so you really don't have to compromise.Now, with all of that being said, again, these are going to be relatively affordable for the entire set coming in at roughly $675. Now, that may seem a little steep, however, this kit is going to be very inclusive with the front and rear doors as well as the mirrors. Some other options available on the page in that price range may only come with just the front doors. So, I personally think that you're getting a lot out of this kit. Now, compared to other choices, when it comes to styling, that kind of comes down to personal preference, but I do like the sporty cutouts and that these will be a little bit raised compared to others that will line the entire bottom of the doorframe.Now, these, again, will also come with those mirrors as where some other choices may not have the mirrors, or only come with mounts. So I think if you're in search of a sporty set of tube doors that will come with everything that you need, then this is going to be the kit to choose.Now, install will be very straightforward. So, I am gonna give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you about an hour to get the job done with some basic hand tools. Now, at this point, I'm gonna pass you over to one of our guys in the shop. They're gonna show you how to get these onto your JL with a detailed breakdown of the install. So that's gonna wrap it up for me. Let's get into it right now.Man: Tools required for this install include an electric ratchet, a 3/8 ratchet, a 10-millimeter wrench, a 13-millimeter wrench, a 4-mil Allen, a 5-mil Allen, a T50 Torx bit, T30 Torx bit, and a 13-millimeter socket.What's up, guys? Today we're gonna be installing a set of doors on our Wrangler JL. So, our first step is gonna be to get our stock doors off. So let's get right to it. So our first step is gonna be to remove our two T50 bolts that hold the door onto the frame. So we can get a ratchet with a T50 Torx bit and get these out.So now coming inside the car, we can remove this plastic trim panel and disconnect our doorstop and our wire harness and then remove this T30 bolt down here, and then we can lift up on our door and remove it.And now with everything removed, we can lift up on our door and remove it. All right. So now coming to the front, we can repeat pretty much that same exact process. We're gonna start out by taking out these two T50 bolts. So, let's get started on that. So now we can remove our trim panel, remove our doorstop, disconnect our wiring harness, and remove our T30 bolt. Now we can lift up on the door to remove it and repeat that same process on the other side.So, our first step is gonna be to mount our mirrors and our brackets. We have a little weatherproofing seal here. It's gonna go on the inside of our mirror. And then we're gonna be using our M6 screws with an M6 washer on the front side, and then we can take another M6 flat washer, and a lock washer, and then our nut. And then once we have all of our hardware in place, we can snug those up using a 4-millimeter Allen and a 10-millimeter wrench.Now to install our brackets, we have an M8x25 bolt, an M8 flat washer, an M8 lock washer, and the nut. So we put our M8 bolt through first, followed by our flat washer, our lock washer, and our nut. And then our bottom bracket would be the same thing except we have this doorstop that's gonna go on the backside here. And then we can tighten those down with a 5-millimeter Allen and a 13-millimeter wrench. And then now we can repeat that same process for the other front door.So to install our brackets on our rear door, it's gonna be pretty much that exact same process. The only difference is you're gonna be using the M8x20 mil screw. And then we'll follow our same process with our M8 washer, M8 locking washer, and our nut. And then once we have that in place, we can tighten those down with that same 5-millimeter Allen and 13-millimeter wrench. And then we can repeat that same process for the other rear door.So now to install our front door, we can slide our hinges into place and get it closed. And then now we can come in with another flat washer and our locking nut. And then we can tighten those down with a 13-millimeter socket.Now, coming back inside the car, we can connect our door strap to our hook, and then we can go ahead and repeat that same process on the other front door. So coming to the back, we're gonna repeat pretty much that same process on the front. So we'll slide our hinges into place and then we have a flat washer and a locking nut. Now we can connect our door strap, and then we can repeat that same process on the other rear door.So that'll wrap up this review and install of the Tubular Safari Doors with Mirrors for your 2018 to current Jeep Wrangler JL.
