What’s more, these panels are designed to cover your doors and floor area for complete sound dampening and insulation. This creates a reasonably quiet interior environment that also allows you to play your music at lower volumes.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This sound dampening kit’s aforementioned 3-layer wear-resistant construction is made up of acoustic foam, butyl rubber, and metallic foil working together to efficiently dampen noise and vibration. Moreover, these panels measure just 0.18 inches thick, making them relatively unobtrusive when installed. Lastly, these sheets are also resistant to heat and water, providing some heat insulation.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This kit’s individual panels are precision-cut to your inner door panels and floor area, including bolt heads, access holes, and other similar structures. This eliminates the need for extra trimming of the material. Additionally, the panels feature a self-adhesive backing, making their installation a straightforward peel-and-stick procedure. However, you will need to disassemble your car seats and other components in order to get to the bare metal of your Jeep’s floor. You will also need to clean the mounting surfaces using a clean rag and some alcohol or acetone. This is to get rid of any grease or dirt that can get in the way of proper adhesion of the panels to the metal.
