Hey, guys. So today we're checking out the Version 2 Light Bar Sequential LED Tail Lights with a red clear lens fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers. So if you're not a fan of your factory tail lights or you've busted one up on the trail and you're looking for a replacement that's functional as well as good looking, this option's gonna be a great choice to take a look into.So as you can tell, we have the running lights on right now and this is gonna add a very sporty look with this light bar setup. Now this is gonna have a very fibe-roptic feel to it which does give the Jeep a very custom look in comparison to some other standard tail light setups. Now this is also going to have a sequential feature as it says in the name. So this will have a sequence whenever you turn on your turn signals or your hazards. Now what I really like about this is that not only is this going to just have a very sporty look with that fiber-optic LED but it's also going to have LEDs down at the bottom for your reverse lights that are going to increase your visibility while you're backing up, especially at night. So overall, these tail lights are going to offer all the standard features and just that much more in the styling as well as the function and they're also going to be more durable than the average tail light. So these are gonna have a polycarbonate lens on the back. Perfect for you guys that are taking your Jeep off-road and you want a tail light set that's going to hold up on the trail to any brush or branches that you may come in contact with. Now with all that being said, these are gonna be roughly $300 and I personally think that that's set at a very fair price point for what you're getting out of the box. Now in my opinion, I think this looks like an upgraded and sporty version of the factory tail light. You're getting those reflectors down at the bottom that are pretty standard but you're getting this light bar setup that's going to take it to a whole new level. Now those LEDs inside are also going to do that but the light bar setup is going to be a very custom look in comparison to some other choices on the page. Now a lot of the times when we're taking a look at tail lights and shopping around for them, it really comes down to the difference in the display of the LEDs or of the lights themselves. Now this again is going to have that light bar sporty setup or that fiber-optic look to them as to where some other options are going to have multiple LEDs or they're just gonna have a different color lens. So instead of a red clear lens like this with a very classic look, they may have a smoked lens which is gonna add a little bit more of aggression and a blacked out look or a clear lens that'll add more of a Euro look. So it almost comes down to your personal preference in design. However, if you're looking for that red classic look and a more upgraded version of your factory tail lights with a lot of extra features and functions, then this is going to be a great choice to take a look into.As far as install goes, this is going to be very easy. This is a completely plug and play setup so I'm gonna give it a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're only gonna need one tool to get the job done and probably an hour's worth of your time. So speaking of that install, let's jump into that now.The tool that I used for my install was a Phillips head screwdriver. So to kick off this install, you're gonna need a Phillips head screwdriver and we're gonna remove the two screws on the inside of the tail light that's holding our tail light to the body of our Jeep. Now put these to the side. We will be reusing them. And once those two screws are out, what we can do is just give a good pull on our tail light. It should come out just like that. Then we can disconnect our tail light wearing harness. So this is a plug and play connector. All we have to do is just plug that into the factory harness. Make sure you hear a click. And we'll place our new tail light inside the Jeep. There are gonna be little slots. You wanna kinda hook inside of the body there. Then we can take our factory screws, thread them into place. Then we can tighten them up with the Phillips head screwdriver. You also wanna make sure that you don't overtighten these screws because you can end up damaging the plastic here. Before we hop into the rest of the install, I do wanna stop down and give you guys a comparison on our factory lights sitting next to our new tail lights and what benefits that you're gonna get out of this new setup. Now right off the bat, you can tell that these are going to be completely different but I do like the fact that even though this does have a different style to them, it's still gonna have a red clear lens looking like an upgraded version of the factory light. So a quick overview of our factory tail light here. We're just going to have a red standard reflector. Down at the bottom, you're gonna have a standard white reflector and on the inside, you're gonna have multiple halogen bulbs. Now moving over to our new tail light, you can see that that is going to be completely different. We have a tribar design up at the top here that's going to have multiple LEDs inside that will almost have a fiber-optic look in each of those light bars. But at the bottom, we're gonna have a standard red reflector and a couple of LEDs there that are gonna have a bright white light and that's going to be your reverse light. Now those LEDs inside are going to be a lot brighter than the factory halogens, making you more noticeable on the road as well as giving you better visibility, especially at night when you are backing up. Now I personally really like the LED setup. I like the tribar design. It does come out a little bit farther than the face of the tail light. That's gonna add a sporty look and feel to the back end of the Wrangler. And it's also gonna do a really good job at creating more of a modernized aesthetic in comparison to the standard factory tail light. Those light bars in the middle are also going to have a sequential tail light feature. So they are going to illuminate at different times when you do actuate your turn signal. Now again, that's just going to add to a custom look and also make you more noticeable on the road. Again, especially at night. Now these are also going to be a little bit more durable than your factory tail light. These are made of a polycarbonate material or a poly...or going to have a polycarbonate lens, so these are gonna hold up a lot better on the trail, especially to any branches or brush that they may come in contact with than the factory plastic reflector. Now it's great for you guys out there that are going off-road and want something that's gonna be able to hold its own while you are out on the trail. Now I do again really like the fact that this is going to have a classic red reflector but you're also getting kind of a smoked look with this as well with the black housing. So not only are you getting that classic look but it is going to be a little bit more aggressive and sporty at the same time. Not to mention this is going to be completely plug and play like you guys just saw with our first tail light and it's gonna integrate a anti-flicker harness on the back so it is going to prevent any hyper flashing that you may get with an LED with a lower resistance. So enough about these two side by side. Let's go ahead and finish up our install. So basically, we're just gonna repeat that process on the other side starting with the two screws. So we can just repeat that process on the other side starting by plugging our harness in, tucking that inside the tub area. All right. So after everything's tightened up, then you're all set to go.So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
