Hey, guys. So, today, we're checking out the Axial LED Turn Signals with the Halos and the Smoked Lens, fitting all 2007 to 2018 at JK Wranglers. So, if you are in search of a style and function upgrade for your turn signals, you're not necessarily a fan of factory ones, then this option by Axial is gonna be a great choice for you to take a look into. Now, this is gonna be great for anybody who's looking for again, a style upgrade, is looking for a halo to match with any other halo accessories or lighting that they already have on the front end of the JK, and they're also looking for something that's going to match any other LEDs that are on the front end. Now, these are even gonna be great as a standalone mod as you can see here, they still give a lot of style and a lot of function to the front end. Now, we have the halos on right now, this is going to be your daytime running light or the halo is going to be actuated whenever your running lights are on. That's gonna give a little bit of unique styling to the front end, that's also gonna make you a lot more noticeable while you're driving around on the street as to where the factory ones would just give off that amber color with the amber lens that you see on the factory turn signal. Now, when the turn signal is actuated, that halo is going to go away and it will blink with an amber color. Those are gonna be very bright LEDs on the inside of the turn signal. And they are going to do a great job at being a lot brighter than the factory incandescent bulb and again, they're gonna give you a lot of style. Now, not to mention, this is also going to have that smoke lens there, which is gonna be great for anybody who's a fan of that blacked out or smoked look and again match with any other smoked accessories that you may already have on the front end of your JK. Not to mention, these are gonna be a little bit more durable, perfect for the trail, and they're also going to last a lot longer than a factory incandescent bulb because of that LED lifespan. Now, with all that being said, these are gonna come in at roughly $75, and I think that's pretty affordable for the function that you're getting with these turn signals here. Now, in comparison to some other options, some of their choices may be LED, however, they may have a different lens or a different setup when it comes to the LEDs inside. So, you may see an amber lens or a clear lens as to where this is going to have a smoked lens. And then there are going to be those other options on the page that are not going to come with a halo. Now, I think if you're a fan of the smoked look and the halo combo, again, these are going to be right up your alley. Now, when it comes to install, these are gonna be incredibly easy to install at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. There's no wiring needed, everything that you need comes in the kit with these turn signals. So, you're just gonna need some very basic handles and about an hour's worth of your time. So, speaking of that install, let's jump into that now. The tools that I used for my install were a flat-head screwdriver and a trim removal tool. So, in order to swap out our turn signals, we will have to remove our grille. So, our first step is to start with our hood open and then we can remove the six clips that are holding in the top part of our grille. Now, for this, you can either use a flat-head screwdriver, or you can use a clip or trim removal tool, I'm gonna be using that. So, before we can pop the grille off, we do need to disconnect the wiring harness for turn signals. So, this is gonna be on either side, we're just gonna depress that clip there and then pull back. Then we can repeat that for the other side and then pull off our grille. So, at this point, all we have to do is just give the grille a good tug back. All right, and we go to the table. So now that we have the grill off and on the table, we are gonna be removing the turn signals at this point. They are held in by two clips. So, for this, you'll need a flat-head screwdriver. So, what we can do is just depress the clip on either side and push forward. And once those clear this plastic piece on the grille, we can just give it a good push, and it will come right up the front. We can do that for the other side as well. So, before I go ahead and install our new turn signals, I wanted to step down, show you guys a little comparison. I'll show you some of the similarities and the differences between the new turn signals and our factory ones and why this is going to be a big style and functional upgrade for your JK.Now, starting off with the overall construction, these are going to be completely different in the way that they're styled and the functionality of the actual turn signal like I just mentioned. So, going over our factory one, this is just gonna be a standard setup. We have the standard amber lens on the front, we have a plastic housing, and we have an incandescent dual filament bulb on the inside. Now that bold is going to actuate when the turn signal is initiated, and it's also going to be a standard running light with the same bulb. So, overall, very stock function, very basic function. However, when moving over to this new option, that is not gonna be the case. So, this is going to have a polycarbonate lens on the front, this is going to be a smoked lens. So, it will not only just give you a more stealthy and sleek style to the front end of the JK, but it is also going to be a little bit more durable than our factory one. So, these will be able to hold up a little bit better when you are out on the trail. Now, like I said, the functionality is going to be completely different when moving over to this new turn signal option. So, starting off, this is going to have a halo, it is going to be a bright white halo to match with any other halos that you may already have on your JK. But that is going to be at the daytime running light or the running light function as where this is just going to be a solid full light with that full lens there. Now, when you actuate your turn signal or your four ways, the inside is going to flash in an amber color. Now, those are also going to be LED so they are going to be significantly brighter, and they are going to look a lot cleaner and crisper in comparison to the incandescent bulb. And, overall, the LEDs not only the halo, but also the ones inside of the turn signal itself are going to last a lot longer than an incandescent bulb. You really don't have to worry about these over time. So, overall, this is not only gonna give you a functionality upgrade, but it is going to give you a style upgrade. Now, the only similarity that I see between these two is the fact that these are also going to be plug-and-play just like our factory ones. So, what do you say we go ahead and put them in our grill and see how they look? So, our new light is going to go in the exact same way as our factory one. So, you just wanna make sure that you have the right side they are going to be different for right-hand and left-hand side. So, after that is figured out, what we can do is route this wire through, it is gonna have to go through the front of the grille. And then once it's in there, we can line up those tabs and give it a good push and should click into place. All right, then we repeat that for the other side and head over to our grille. So, at this point, now that we have both of our lights installed, what we can do is just reinstall our grille. So, we just line up the clips and give it a good push. So, once the grille is back in place, we can plug in our connectors. Now, these are gonna be completely plug-and-play. So, the main or the big plug is gonna go into our factory wiring harness, make sure that you hear click, and you can lock that red retainer clip. Now, once that's in, we can plug in our resistor. Once that's clipped into place, we can mount this up, there's a piece of adhesive and we're just gonna stick this over on the side here. So, after this side is plugged in, you can repeat that same exact process for the other side and then we can clip in our grille. So, we're just gonna continue to reuse our factory hardware. So we can just pop this into place. After the top of the grille is secured, what we can do is close up our hood and we'll be all set to go. So, that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
