      Description

      Replacement Ignition Switch. This Jeep Wrangler Ignition Switch is intended as a direct replacement for your vehicle’s current ignition switch. If your adventures off-road have led to damage to the existing switch, this is an ideal and cost-effective replacement. Note that this part only replaces the existing switch and does not come with all of the wiring needed for a full switch installation.

      Durable Construction. Made using metal and plastic, the Jeep Wrangler Ignition Switch is built to the same specifications as your Wrangler’s existing switch. It also uses the vehicle’s existing hardware.

      In-Depth Installation. This is not a simple plug-and-play device. While the switch is a fairly basic part, it requires extensive wiring to ensure it functions properly once installed on your Wrangler. Installation requires no additional hardware, assuming the hardware that feeds into your existing ignition switch has not been damaged.

      1-Year Warranty. The Jeep Wrangler Ignition Switch is covered by a 1-year warranty that offers protection against issues related to materials and craftsmanship. Note that this warranty does have some exclusions, so check the full warranty before making your purchase.

      Application. The Jeep Wrangler Ignition Switch has been designed to fit the ignition of Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles made between 2007-2018. It is not a universal switch and should not be used in any other vehicle.

      Installation Difficulty. As this switch is part of a mechanism that is responsible for both starting your car and providing power to various areas, it stands to reason that installation is fairly complex. Some extensive wiring is required, as well as work to access the original switch. As such, this installation takes between 2-3 hours and should only be attempted by those with advanced knowledge of their Wrangler’s ignition apparatus.
