      Description

Thankfully, you can replace these parts individually, saving money in the process. That’s what Crown Automotive facilitates with its Jeep Wrangler Dana 44 Rear Axle Ring and Pinion Gear Kit. Designed for Dana 44 rear differentials, this kit includes a pinion gear with a 4.10 ratio.

      Tough Steel Construction. Crown Automotive follows the factory specifications to the letter, resulting in cost-effective replacement and spare parts. Both the axle ring and pinion gear are made using durable and reliable unpainted steel. That means they’re as strong as your stock parts and can handle several years of heavy use.

      Bolt-On Installation. All parts of this kit install directly, with no need for vehicle modifications of any kind. The set does not come with a pinion nut, which you must buy separately if your stock nut is damaged. Installation requires the use of several tools, as well as a suitable vehicle lift and stabilizers.

      Protected Against Defects The Jeep Wrangler Dana 44 Rear Axle Ring and Pinion Gear Kit is protected against manufacturing and material defects for either 1 year or 12,000 miles. This is a limited warranty that has exclusions related to user damage.

      Application. The Jeep Wrangler Dana 44 Rear Axle Ring and Pinion Gear Kit is designed to fit the rear axle and differential of Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles made between 2007-2018.

      Installation Difficulty. Professional installation is recommended if you do not have advanced skills and the relevant equipment for accessing your rear axle. These parts can take 2-4 hours to install, depending on the installer’s proficiency.
