Description
Superior Axle Oil Sealing. Providing your axle with an adequate seal is necessary to ensure your Dana 44 re-build goes smoothly. When choosing the correct seal for your project, this Dana 44 Front Axle Seal is a perfect choice. This front axle seal combines an OE form factor with superior construction to provide your axle with effective sealing that will last for years.
Hardwearing Build Quality. This front axle seal features a high-grade metal alloy construction, making it extremely resistant to heat and chemicals. Furthermore, this inner axle seal is machine-formed to factory specifications for an OE fit when installed. Similarly, its inner surface receives a core molded from a specialized rubber compound that’s engineered to maintain its integrity even in oily and hot conditions. Lastly, this component comes in a natural finish.
Professional Installation Recommended. This front axle seal mounts onto factory locations in your Dana 44’s housing without the need for modifications. That said, installing this axle seal will require you to remove your differential axle shaft and differential gear assembly to access its mounting point. This process will require a full set of tools, as well as expert-level mechanical skills and knowledge. If you’re inexperienced with this type of installation, professional installation is recommended.
