When that happens, you can get a cost-effective replacement thanks to Crown Automotive’s Jeep Wrangler AX4/AX5 Transmission Reverse Idler Gear. Designed to directly replace your existing reverse gear, this part is compatible with both AX4 and AX5 transmissions.
Built to Factory Standards. The gear is made using solid metal with a simple gray coloring. Crown follows factory specifications in the construction of this part, ensuring it works just as well as your stock original.
Professional Installation Recommended. The Jeep Wrangler AX4/AX5 Transmission Reverse Idler Gear does not come with installation hardware of its own. Instead, you can install it using the same hardware that your stock part uses. Note that fitting this part requires extensive knowledge of your transmission, meaning it’s best to seek professional assistance.
Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty. Crown offers a 1-Year or 12,000-Mile warranty. This covers you against any issues with manufacturing flaws or material defects. Exclusions apply so please contact the manufacturer’s customer care department if you have any questions about this warranty.
