Description
Heavy Duty Driveshaft. The J.E. Reel Heavy Duty 1310 Rear Driveshaft is engineered to replace and upgrade the original equipment driveline of the Jeep Wrangler JL 2-door automatic models. It provides increased strength needed for vehicles with moderate lift kits up to 4.5 inches and tire sizes up to 35 inches for mild off-road use.
Construction and Appearance. This driveshaft features a heavy-duty 1310 universal joint with Zerk fittings for easy maintenance and a durable 2.00 x 0.120 inch steel tube for optimal strength and rigidity. It includes high-quality pinion and transfer case yokes designed for precise fitment, with a protective finish to help resist corrosion and extend durability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling or modifications required when used within the recommended lift and tire specifications. Basic mechanical skills and tools are sufficient to complete the installation efficiently. Vehicles with lifts higher than 4.5 inches or those using long arm suspension systems should have driveline length verified prior to installation.
Application. Designed specifically for the 2018 to present Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6L 2-Door models equipped with automatic transmission. This driveshaft is not compatible with Rubicon models due to factory driveline differences.
