No ECU Tuning Necessary. This Injen Evolution series cold air intake improves your ride’s performance via its engineered design and does not require re-tuning of your ECU. However, it’s always a good idea to provide your vehicle with an ECU re-tune down the line, as this can help optimize your engine’s performance with your new intake.
Superior Efficiency Dry Air Filter Included. This cold air intake includes a dry air filter engineered to remove contaminants without compromising air flow. This is accomplished via a specialized filter media that combines a high flow base layer with proprietary SuperNano-Web media capable of maximum airflow and exceptional filtration. Likewise, this filter features deep pleats designed to increase its usable surface. What’s more, this air filter is easy to clean simply by blowing with pressurized air or vacuuming.
Sturdy Build Quality. This cold air intake utilizes an air inlet tube and air box made from premium cross-linked polyethylene, giving the intake exceptional resistance to deterioration due to engine bay heat. Moreover, the air box and inlet tube are crafted using a high-tech roto-molding process producing a turbulence-free system that also fits your Jeep like a glove. A wide sight window on the top of the air box is also included, allowing you to monitor the condition of the filter without having to remove it. Finally, this intake assembly comes in black for a fierce look.
