Description
Advanced Suspension Upgrade. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ext Travel 2.5 Series Shocks VS are designed to enhance front suspension performance for Toyota Tacoma models from 2005 to 2023. These adjustable coilovers provide increased lift height and improved ride quality by allowing for larger wheel and tire combinations while delivering superior on- and off-road handling capabilities.
Construction and Appearance. Built with a CAD-plated threaded body and billet aluminum upper mounts, these coilovers feature 5/8" PTFE-lined spherical bearings for durability and precision. External reservoirs increase shock oil capacity and cooling efficiency, complemented by ICON-engineered coil springs designed for optimized vehicle compatibility.
Installation. Due to the extended travel length, installation requires aftermarket front upper control arms. The process is moderately complex and does not require drilling. The kit includes sway bar relocation brackets and reservoir mounting brackets to ensure proper fitment and optimum tire clearance.
Warranty. The product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, providing reliability and peace of mind.
Application. These coilovers fit 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma models except for 2WD 5-Lug models from 2005-2015, which are not compatible. Lift height adjustment ranges vary depending on model year and trim, with TRD Pro models featuring a different lift range and thus excluded.
