Description
Remote Reservoir Coilover Suspension. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Front Remote Reservoir Coil-Over Kit delivers substantial lift and improved suspension performance for the front end of the Toyota Tacoma. Designed to enhance ride quality and accommodate larger wheel and tire setups, this adjustable coilover system balances on-road handling with off-road durability.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a cadmium-plated threaded body and a billet aluminum upper mount, this coilover kit is engineered for durability and consistent performance. The 5/8" PTFE-lined spherical bearings combined with external remote reservoirs maximize shock oil volume and heat dissipation, resulting in superior shock damping.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but no drilling, as the kit is designed for direct bolt-on fitment with included sway bar and reservoir mounting brackets. This involves replacing the existing shocks with minimal modifications for sway bar and reservoir relocation.
Application. This coilover kit fits 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma front suspensions, providing a lift range of 0–3.5" for 2005–2015 models and 0–2.75" for 2016–2023 models. It does not fit 2005–2015 2WD 5-lug Tacoma models. For TRD Pro models, lift adjustment is limited to 1.25" or 1.75" depending on the year.
