Description
High-Performance Secondary Shocks. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Secondary Long Travel V.S. 2.5 Series Front Remote Reservoir Shocks deliver enhanced off-road capability and superior ride comfort for demanding terrains. These shocks manage heat dissipation and adjust damping force to prevent bottoming out, ensuring precise suspension control at high velocity. Designed specifically for the secondary shock setup, they improve vehicle handling and durability in extended off-road use scenarios.
Construction and Appearance. These shocks feature impact-extruded, 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum cylinders with a corrosion-resistant finish for long-lasting durability. The monotube design is nitrogen charged and includes a remote reservoir for improved heat management. A 7/8” induction hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft and PTFE lined spherical bearings provide strength and smooth operation, while CNC machining ensures precise component integration.
Installation. Installation of these shocks is moderately straightforward but requires compatibility with aftermarket long travel kits and secondary shock hoops. No drilling is necessary if installed on compatible long travel kits designed for secondary shocks; however, these shocks will not fit stock width control arm setups or ICON S2 secondary shock systems.

Application. Specifically designed to fit the 05-23 6-Lug Tacoma, these shocks are incompatible with the S2 secondary shock system and stock width control arm kits that accommodate secondary shocks.
