Racing: The Fox Advantage.
Going back to 1974, motocross racer Bob Fox found the need for improved shocks in the motorcycle world. Through racing, he developed a better shock solution. In the years since, Fox shocks have gone on to dominate suspension technology in 4x4s and even mountain bikes. The current Fox Factory series represents over 40 years of Fox's race-bred success. Strong Enough for the Extremes.
The Fox Factory Series is optimized for extreme use. The shock body is smooth and seamless. The pivots and adjustment points are CNC-machined of billet aluminum. An oversized 7/8 in. shaft of head-treated alloy steel improves heat dissipation. The seals are triple-redundant, with main, wiper, and scraper elements. Whether you're into high-speed desert runs or low-speed rock crawling, the Fox Factory Series has the features and quality you need. Pre-Tuned for Each Application.
Fox Factory shocks are preset for your application. From the factory, valving is for the best ride and stability. User-accessible adjustments for fine-tuning include nitrogen pressure, compression valving, and rebound valving. The goal is to keep your wheels in maximum contact with the surface to keep you in control and moving forward. Installation.
Installation requires hand tools, a spring compressor, a hydraulic floor jack, jack stands, and mechanical experience. If this isn't you, please leave this job to your local garage. Application.
The Fox Factory package is sold in pairs to fit the front of your model year 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with a 4-6 inch lift already installed.
