Construction Built to Last. You can make a long-term investment with the Jeep Wrangler Hood Louver. The aluminum construction is resistant to outdoor factors, and it comes with a durable powder coat that keeps it corrosion-free.
Installation Process. The installation process consists of four simple steps. You want to remove any accessories from the hood, mark the drill points by placing the louver on the hood as desired, and drill the pilots with a 3/16-inch drill bit. Finally, you want to remove the louver and install your new hood louver using the bolts, washers, and nylon nuts.
90-Day Warranty. The manufacturer offers a 90-day warranty for defects in the workmanship and material on all powder coat finishes. However, the warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear.
Application. This product fits all Jeep Wrangler TJ vehicles built between 1997-2002. This includes both the two-door and the four-door models.
Technical Note. Be careful not to drag metal shavings and scratch the paint on your hood during installation. Also, when you install the hood louver, it’s best to loosely secure every bolt before tightening with a 3mm Allen and 10mm socket.
Installation Difficulty. Installing the Jeep Wrangler Hood Louver requires approximately 90 minutes. It’s a simple process you can complete with basic mechanical skills.
