Fishbone Offroad HD Steering Box Brace

Heavy-Duty Steering Upgrade. The Fishbone Offroad HD Steering Box Brace replaces the stock steering box mount on Jeep CJ models from 1976 to 1986, enhancing steering system durability and reliability by providing a robust mounting solution designed to withstand off-road and daily driving demands. It helps maintain precise steering control and vehicle safety.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 3/8-inch thick raw cold-rolled steel, this mount delivers exceptional strength and long-lasting performance. The bare steel finish allows for painting or other protective coatings to match vehicle aesthetics and prevent corrosion.

Installation. Installation requires drilling. The process is straightforward with included instructions and a drilling template, suitable for experienced DIYers or professional installers.

Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1976-1986 Jeep CJ7 and 1981-1986 Jeep CJ Scrambler (CJ8) models, this mount fully replaces the factory steering box bracket and is not compatible with models outside these years.
