This gear will allow you to install those bigger tires you have always admired without altering any performance or fuel consumption of your Jeep for a better off-road performance.
Re-gearing Advantage. The problem with installing bigger tires without re-gearing is that it causes the engine to work double to rotate the added tire diameter. The result is reduced acceleration, engine performance and even increased fuel consumption. However, this should not limit you from installing bigger tires, replacing your front gear with this new one will maintain the performance of your engine, since it has more rotation teeth which amplify the drive shaft rotation without requiring any extra power from the engine.
Durable Construction. This gear has been crafted from a solid 8620 stainless steel and passed through stringent quality control standards to ensure they don’t have any weakness. There is no doubt this gear has been built to last.
Installation. Installation of this gear requires the skills of a specialized mechanic. Remember to check your carrier size for an upgrade if it is below 3.73. The installation process takes about 6 hours.
