The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate is engineered to shield your vehicle's rear hitch receiver from damage caused by trail obstacles while offering a durable recovery point. Mounting directly to a standard 2” hitch, it reduces friction and wear during off-road use, making it essential for enthusiasts seeking both protection and functionality.

Construction and Appearance. Crafted from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a single-piece design, this skid plate provides exceptional strength and durability. It includes a replaceable Delrin skid pad to minimize abrasion, with an optional upgrade to a more durable aluminum pad. The skid plate is available in raw aluminum, black, and red finishes that deliver both protection and style.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling. The skid plate mounts securely to a 2” hitch receiver using a ?” pin (sold separately), allowing for quick and easy attachment.

Warranty. This product is backed by a one-year limited warranty covering workmanship and material defects.

Application. Designed to fit most 2” hitch receivers, but not compatible with 2.5” hitches commonly found on 3/4 and 1-ton trucks, even when using reducers. Some OEM and aftermarket hitches with underside gussets may prevent proper fitment, such as the 2016-2023 Tacoma OEM hitch. Universal fitment may require some adaptation.
