I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com and this is my review of the Drake Off Road Automatic Transmission Shift Lever fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJs.This is for those of you who want to change up the look of the interior of your Jeep and have an accent piece. This goes really well with other billet aluminum accents that you might have in your interior or as a standalone piece.I really like this billet aluminum shift knob because it has the feel and the look of billet, which is high class and high quality, but it still has a pretty low price tag. As with a lot of products from Drake Off Road, as I mentioned, this is billet aluminum, which means it's milled out of a solid block of aluminum. It has a clear anodized finish over top of it to keep it looking good for a long time and it has this rubber tire tread pattern around it to give you grip and to add a little bit more to the styling. The shift lever also features a lockout button on the top of it, which will function much like the factory automatic shift lever lockout. Getting this installed in your TJ is a really simple process. All you need to do is remove the factory shift lever, which really just pulls off. You will have to give it a little bit of force and probably pull with both hands. But don't worry, you're not gonna break anything and you're not forgetting about any screws. It is just a press fit. Once that's removed, the new shift knob will slide right over top in place of the old one and there's a single Allen key set screw that will hold it in place. The whole installation process shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes. And other than that Allen key that you'll need for the set screw, you won't need any tools at all. Like I said before, this piece is fairly inexpensive, especially for something that's billet aluminum. Usually when you see billet in the name, it means big money, but this is still really reasonably priced, which is nice because I personally don't like to spend a lot of money on mods that aren't functional, and this is strictly a styling mod.So if you're looking to change up the look of your interior and you either already have some billet aluminum accents or you're looking for something that's a standalone focal point, this is an easy to install inexpensive option. So that's my review of the Drake Off Road Automatic Transmission Shift Lever fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJs that you can find right here at ExtremeTerrain.com.

Growing up I always wanted a Jeep, from the day I started driving I spent my days behind the wheel of a Jeep branded vehicle, which has not changed.
