Description
Control Your Jeep. You use the drag link in your Jeep every time you turn the wheel. The drag link assembly, in some form or another, takes the input from your steering wheel and transmits that input to your front wheels while also maintaining your wheels' alignment thus, allowing your car to steer and track properly. The Omix-ADA Drag Link Assembly for your Jeep Wrangler YJ will bring back crisp and precise steering input and response to your Jeep and make you much safer on the road in any condition.
Direct Replacement. As with any part that is under load or torque, they require high strength. The Omix-ADA Drag Link Assembly is a solid 12.5 pounds of steel and is a durable replacement for your worn out part.
Installation Guidelines. In order to install this part you should be comfortable working on the suspension of your Jeep. You will also need more than a basic tool set in order to complete this installation properly. Your Jeep will need to go to a suspension or tire shop after installation to get a front end alignment in order to make sure your Jeep will track properly and not have uneven tire wear on the front tires. If you are not comfortable with anything discussed then you will need to take this part to a competent suspension specialist to have it installed.
