      Strong and Long-Lasting 3/16 Steel Material. The material used to create this skid plate is thick steel that is designed to help prevent dents and dings from happening to your fuel tank. Apart from the thick 3/16 American steel construction, this covering is also powder coated in black to further protect the metal from corrosion and tarnish. This ensures that your skid plate lasts a long time.

      Install Using Standard Tools. No special tools or additional hardware is needed to install this skid plate over your fuel tank. All you need are the stock screws that were used with the plastic cover, a 12 mm socket, and a ratchet for installation. You may also need a pair of pliers, if you need to swap tank straps.
