Description
Optimum All-Around Damping Performance. Get optimum damping performance from your long arm lifted Wrangler JL with the Bilstein B8 5160 Series Rear Shock for 5 to 5.50-Inch Long Arm Lift. This rear shock is engineered to offer exceptional damping performance for Jeeps that are equipped with a long arm lift kit. This is accomplished courtesy of a monotube gas-charged design with a robust remote reservoir. This design provides a quicker damping response and more precise off-road handling. What’s more, this shock utilizes velocity-sensitive digressive valving to deliver a firm but comfortable ride out on the highway.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This rear shock comes with a 46mm shock body machine-formed from high-quality alloy for more efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, its piston rod is manufactured from chrome-hardened alloy, offering superior strength for the trails. Lastly, this shock is plated in wear-resistant zinc before receiving a clear topcoat for exceptional corrosion protection.
Easy Install Procedure. This rear shock will mount onto your Jeep using its factory rear location as its mounting point. No additional drilling or modifications are needed in most applications. Also, installation requires just basic hand tools to complete.
Includes a Limited 2-Year Warranty. This B8 5160 rear shock includes a limited 2-year warranty against factory defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
