Description
Leveled Up Damping and Handling. The Bilstein B8 5160 Series Front Shock for 5 to 6-Inch Long Arm Lift is the perfect front shock absorber for your 5 to 6-inch long arm lift kit equipped Wrangler TJ. Specifically, this shock is engineered to level up its handling performance by providing a faster damping response. This is accomplished by combining a monotube gas-charged design with a large remote reservoir, the latter of which also virtually eliminates fade. What’s more, this front damper also features velocity-sensitive digressive valving to deliver a firm but no less comfortable highway ride.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This front shock gets its superior durability courtesy of 46mm alloy shock body construction. This shock body also improves heat dissipation that also contributes to its fade-free performance. Its piston rod on the other hand is machined from chrome-hardened alloy for maximum strength. The whole assembly is then zinc plated before receiving a wear-resistant clear topcoat for exceptional corrosion protection.
Simple Install Procedure. Installing this front shock is a fairly simple process as it will mount onto your Jeep’s factory location without the need for extra drilling or other modifications. Also, installation is completed using just basic hand tools.
