Description
Sizing. This 5100 Series Shock Absorber from Bilstein has the right dimensions you need for manufacturer lift kits. The collapsed length is 16.96 inches, the extended length is 27.36 inches, and the travel length is 10.4 inches. The lower mount eye is 10.4 inches with an upper mount pin, and the shaft diameter is a full 14 millimeters. The body design is non-coil over 46 millimeter ID smooth body.
Properties. This monotube gas pressure shock offers exceptional control whether on road or of. It is specifically designed for manufacturer lift kits that use stock O.E.M. mounting configuration. The single tube high gas design ensures a long life and fade-free performance, and exact tamping is made possible by the larger piston area. The high flow piston decreases piston harshness for an overall smooth finish.
