| Control Arms Placement | Front Upper |
Performance Upgrade. The BDS Tubular Front Upper Control Arms for 2 to 3-Inch Lift enhance wheel travel and suspension articulation by replacing the stock upper control arms. These arms are engineered to improve suspension geometry on leveled and lifted Toyota Tacoma trucks, providing better handling and off-road capability. Their design ensures compatibility with various lift kits, making them essential for serious Tacoma enthusiasts looking to maximize performance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength 1.5-inch outside diameter steel tubing with a .120-inch wall thickness, these control arms provide superior strength and durability compared to OEM components. They incorporate factory-style rubber bushings and greaseable ball joints with protective caps, ensuring smooth operation and long-lasting performance. The finish is durable and engineered to withstand harsh off-road conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, thanks to the fully assembled design that is ready to bolt directly onto your vehicle. Basic mechanical skills and common tools are sufficient to complete the swap, minimizing downtime.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2005-2023 6-Lug Toyota Tacoma models with a 2-3 inch lift, these control arms are not recommended for use with 4-inch BDS lift kits. For 2WD Tacomas, compatibility is limited to Pre-Runner and TRD models only.
