Description
Premium Suspension Lift. The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with FOX 2.5 Coil-Overs and FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks is designed to improve stance, suspension performance, and off-road capability for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and 2WD PreRunner models. This complete kit increases ground clearance to accommodate tires up to 35 inches, enhances suspension travel for better off-road handling, and maintains comfortable on-road ride quality.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring FOX 2.5-inch coil-over shocks with smooth bore zinc-plated seamless steel bodies, the kit offers exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. Components include black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum parts, adjustable 3.0 Eibach racing springs with application-specific valving, 7/8-inch hard chrome-plated steel shafts, and heavy duty 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers. Rear heavy duty cast steel lift blocks, reinforced skid plates, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles maintain ESC compatibility and structural strength.
Installation. Installation involves moderate complexity and requires specialized tools such as a strut compressor, reciprocating saw, and welding equipment. Minor welding and frame bracket modifications are necessary. Professional installation is recommended to achieve proper lift and alignment.
Warranty. This lift kit includes a Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty for added assurance and customer confidence.
Fitment and Application. Engineered to fit 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma models with 6-lug wheels, including 4WD and 2WD PreRunner versions. Note that some 2014-2015 Tacoma models may not achieve the full 6-inch lift height but will retain the final lifted vehicle stance. Stock wheels cannot be reused, and this kit does not support 17-inch wheels.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD models with 6-lug wheels, including PreRunner and TRD Sport variants.
