Description
High-Performance Steering Stabilizer. The BDS NX2 Single Steering Stabilizer enhances steering control by reducing vibration and feedback from rough terrain. It is designed for both on-road and off-road use, helping improve vehicle handling and driver comfort in demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from steel, this stabilizer features a 2.375-inch diameter cylinder with a durable metallic silver finish. It includes a 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston with self-lubricating seals and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft designed to resist corrosion and rock damage, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically takes about an hour. The process is rated as easy and includes polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves to facilitate a smooth swap over existing shocks.
Application. This steering stabilizer fits the 1976-1986 Jeep CJ7. Mounting bracket kits are sold separately and required for installation on this model.
