Description
Rear Lift Enhancement. The BDS 1.375-Inch Rear Lift Shackle Kit is engineered to increase the ride height and stance of Jeep CJ models from 1976 to 1986. It provides a 1-3/8 inch rear lift to improve ground clearance and suspension travel, correct rear pinion angle on lifted vehicles, and restore rear ride height after adding heavy accessories.
Construction and Appearance. This shackle kit is fabricated from high-strength American steel, formed to precisely fit the frame rails, and includes a center support sleeve for added strength and rigidity. The components have a durable finish designed to withstand rugged off-road use.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. The kit is designed as a direct replacement for stock shackles.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 76-86 Jeep CJ7.
