Hey guys. So, today we're checking out the Barricade Recovery Kit fitting all year Ford Broncos. So, if you plan on taking your Bronco off-road, whether that's by yourself or with a group of friends having recovery tools on hand is a must. And this kit by Barricade will be a great choice for the Bronco owner who's looking for a pretty inclusive recovery kit that's going to include some of the most important tools that you can carry with you for those just-in-case circumstances at a very good price. Now, starting off, this will come with two straps, one rated for 26,000 pounds, and one rated for 28. That will be more than enough when it comes to strength.Now, the first one here is going to be a longer strap that will have loops on the end that you can attach a hard or soft D-ring to and this is where you can use for recovery when someone's stuck and you need a little bit of momentum to pull them out considering that these do have a decent amount of stretch under load. Now, the next strap will be set up very similar to this but that's going to be a lot shorter. And that's mainly going to be used as your tree saver. Now, if you're by yourself or an awkward spot a tree may be your best anchor to get yourself unstuck. Now, using a winch line around a tree can damage the bark which can kill the tree, so using a strap like this will make sure that you're causing no harm.Now, the next tool in this kit is actually not going to be for recovery and this is going to be a drag chain. Now, the sole purpose of this chain is to drag debris, logs, or fallen trees out of the way of the trail by wrapping it around whatever obstacle that's in your way and hooking one of these hooks to one of the existing links on the chain. Now, I would like to call out that this again is not going to be for recovery, it's going to be pretty dangerous if you do use this chain for recovery is only for dragging items out of your line. Now, next up in line is a set of standard D-rings. And these can be useful in addition to the D-rings that you may already have on your Bronco considering that these can be used in conjunction with all the other tools here. Now, these will be 3/4 inch D-rings which is pretty standard across the board, so you may be familiar with that setup.Now, next up in line is a snatch block. And this is actually one of my favorite recovery tools considering that this can double the pulling capacity of your winch. This can also be used to get yourself out of an awkward situation. So, if you don't have anyone that can help you or there's not an anchor point directly in front of you, you can actually pull your Bronco out at an angle thanks to that snatch block. This kit will also come up with a set of heavy-duty gloves. And you may not think that that's that important, but it definitely is especially when handling a winch line whether it's a synthetic or steel line. Now, steel line can give you splinters when handling it and a synthetic line can actually burn up your hands when you're spooling it back in. Now, these will be a lifesaver and just allow you to handle all of your recovery equipment just that much easier.Now, last but not least to keep yourself organized this does come with a large tote bag to keep all of your equipment in. Now, that will make sure that you don't have recovery equipment just laying and floating around the cargo area of your Bronco and it's going to be easily accessible for whenever you need it. And when it comes to price, this kit is actually gonna be very reasonable at roughly $225. Now, in comparing this to other choices on the page, you'll see other kits with different configurations or styles when it comes to components. So, for example, this kit comes with a set of hard 3/4 inch D-rings and you may see soft D-rings, they're made out of a heavy-duty synthetic rope in other kits.Now, again, in my opinion, I think that this is very inclusive for the price and it's really a great starter kit when it comes to finding the right recovery tools to get you out on the trail. Now, with all that being said there is not really an install when it comes to this kit.
