Description
Rear Brake System Upgrade. Reinforce your Jeep’s ground dynamics by replacing your rear factory brake system with the SS4 Black Rear Brake Kit from Baer. This kit consists of well-designed components to deliver excellent stopping ability, thanks to the exceptional wet traction, efficient heat dissipation, and high wear resistance with repeated braking operations.
S4 Multi-Piston Calipers. Featuring billet aluminum with 4 cross bolts, the S4 multi-piston calipers are designed with excellent clamping ability. These 4-piston calipers are furnished with aluminum hard anodized pistons and stainless abutments for remarkable strength and high heat capacity. In addition, these rotors are fortified by the bold black powder coat finish for added durability to resist rust and abrasion while appealingly reinforcing your Jeep’s aggressive stance.
Heavy-Duty Rotors. The drill and slot patterns of the rear rotors in this SS4 Brake Kit are engineered to extend pad and rotor life. This design combination dissipates heat faster while enhancing the aggressive looks of your Jeep’s wheels. It facilitates strong initial bite, precise release, and high debris removal. Moreover, each rotor is furnished with a protective zinc coating that provides extra corrosion resistance, reinforces high-temperature strength, and sports a rust-free shine for added visual appeal.
High-Grade Brake Pads. The brake pads in this package feature application-specific friction material for maximum stopping power and constant friction across the temperature range. These brake pads are made of durable, wear-resistant material that does not compress when pressure is applied and withstand extreme stress, especially when on tricky terrains.
Bolt-On Installation. The SS4 Rear Brake Kit installs by directly bolting onto your Jeep Wrangler’s factory mounting locations. It is compatible with the OE rear end and axles and reuses the factory park brake. It incorporates Baer's unique Verislide design, allowing the calipers to float with the factory c-clip axles. Professional installation is highly recommended.
Brake Upgrade Kit. This SS4 Rear Brake Kit consists of a pair of S4 4-piston rear calipers, caliper brackets, a pair of 13-inch cross-drilled and slotted rotors, high-grade brake pads, and all the necessary hardware for installation. Brake hoses are not included in this package.
One-Year Limited Warranty. Baer warrants the original purchaser that this SS4 Rear Brake Kit will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Some exclusions or limitations may apply. Please see the manufacturer's warranty for complete details.
Application. The Baer SS4 Silver Rear Brake Kit is intended for use on all 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler models.
