Description
High-Performance Rear Brake Upgrade. Give your Jeep Wrangler an improved braking power by upgrading your factory rear brake system to the Baer Pro Plus Black Rear Brake Kit. This rear brake kit provides the ideal combination of exceptional brake control, enhanced torque, heat regulation, thermal capacity, brake bite, pedal feel, modulation, and overall braking capabilities. It is an excellent, high-performance upgrade for your Jeep Wrangler, both on and off-road.
6P Multi-Piston Calipers. Baer's 6 Piston Pro Plus Calipers were engineered with opposing pistons to reinforce the clamping force on the rotor for greater braking power. Each caliper features a 2-piece, forged design with 6 cross bolts for enhanced strength. It is furnished with stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression springs. In addition, it is covered in a stylishly fierce, black powder-coated finish to provide superior corrosion resistance and an aggressive, bolder appeal.
Heavy-Duty, Cross-Drilled, Slotted Rotors. The heavy-duty rotors sport a combination of a drilled and slotted design that facilitates easier removal of gases and from the rotor surface for a stronger braking power. This design together with the directional curved vented vanes maintain a clean pad surface and an efficient cooling mechanism for optimum friction and bite on all weather conditions. They come pre-assembled with black anodized, aluminum hat attached by high-grade, stainless hardware.
High-Quality Brake Pads. Designed with exceptional friction levels with tame street manners, the brake pads in this Pro Plus Kit deliver improved braking performance without sacrificing everyday driveability. These pads feature a low dust ceramic matrix compound that provides severe-duty stopping power with low noise.
Bolt-On Installation. The Pro Plus Rear Brake Kit directly bolts onto your Jeep Wrangler’s factory mounting locations. It is compatible with the OE rear end and axles and reuses the factory park brake. It incorporates Baer's unique Verislide design, allowing the calipers to float with the factory c-clip axles. Professional installation is highly recommended.
Brake Upgrade Kit. This Pro Plus Rear Brake Kit consists of a pair of 6P 6-piston rear calipers, caliper brackets, a pair of 14-inch, rotor and hat assemblies, high-grade brake pads, and all the necessary hardware for installation.
One-Year Limited Warranty. Baer backs this Pro Plus Rear Brake Kit with a limited warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Some exclusions or limitations may apply. Please see the manufacturer's warranty for complete details.
